BetterCare MC Meeting 2024: Izmir Project Agency Leaders Drive Progress in Germany
The BetterCare – CA22152 Management Committee Meeting was successfully convened on February 27th-28th, 2024, at the Frankfurt House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM), located in Germany. TThis pivotal gathering brought together a diverse group of healthcare professionals, researchers, and experts from across the globe, providing a unique platform to discuss the project’s objectives and deliverables
A significant focus of the meeting was on the formation of working groups and the distribution of tasks for the upcoming year, ensuring that all efforts are aligned with the project's goals.
The Izmir Project Agency (IZPA) was prominently represented by the Managing Director, Dr. Ali Galip Ayvat. He participated as the Management Committee member from Türkiye, contributing his valuable insights and expertise to the discussions and decision-making processes.
Inaugural Board Meeting of BetterCare Project
The inaugural board meeting of the BetterCare project took place on October 26, 2023, at the COST Center in Brussels. Our agency's Managing Director Dr. Ali Galip Ayvat and Izmir Democracy University facuty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Ayvat, participated in the meeting as board members representing the project from Turkey. During the meeting, which was attended by representatives from several European countries, responsibilities pertaining to the project were assigned, and overarching working principles were established.
STSM - Observing Best Practices in the Second Victim Phenomenon
Our Managing Director Dr. Ali Galip Ayvat and Izmir Democracy University faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pinar Ayvat visited Spain in September 2023 to write a short term scientific mission (STSM) under COST Action 19113 - ERNST. The main objective of this STSM is to observe and learn about the best practices in managing the second victim phenomenon at FISABIO in Spain and prepare a set of guidelines for institutions in Turkiye.
