Our core team
Dr. Ali Galip Ayvat, PMP, MBA, Ph.D. - Managing Director
Dr. Ayvat is the Managing Director at Izmir Project Agency. He received his BS degree from Middle East Technical University, Ankara and then completed his MBA at Koç University, Istanbul. After obtaining his MBA degree, he embarked on his professional career as a product manager at L’Oréal. Subsequently, he held several positions in the international marketing department of SOKTAS Inc., a company operating in the textile and fashion sector. Upon receiving an invitation, he joined Plato Education Group, where he played a pivotal role in establishing and managing Plato College of Higher Education which became a part of Istanbul Topkapi University later on. In 2012, Dr. Ayvat joined Yaşar University, serving as the Deputy Secretary General and overseeing various administrative centres. He then embraced the opportunity to work as the Secretary General at Özyeğin University, Istanbul, a position he held before moving to his current role. Additionally, he has been teaching management, entrepreneurship, and marketing courses. He is a certified international project management professional (PMP)® and holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Yaşar University.
Efe Gonenc, PMP, M.Sc. - Project Development
Efe Gönenç graduated from the Department of Architecture at Middle East Technical University (METU) and continued his education with a master's degree at Weimar University. He has held various positions in some of Turkey's leading architectural firms and taken significant steps in his career. Gönenç played key roles in the project management of the Galataport project in Istanbul, contributing significantly to the successful and timely completion of this gigantic project valued at 1.8 billion dollars. He has formalized his expertise in project management with a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification. Particularly, he possesses deep expertise in agile project management methods. Thanks to these skills, he effectively steers projects towards success.
Levent Koseoglu, M.Sc. - Project Development
Koseoglu, after spending the last 10 years of his 21-year banking career as a corporate branch manager at Fibabanka, developed the voluntary carbon credit marketplace project, cOmmited.App, through the bank's in-house venture program. Now, as the co-founder of cOmmited.App, he has expertise in carbon trading. By leveraging his experience in the banking sector with a focus on sustainability and environmental impact, Koseoglu facilitates companies and individuals in fulfilling their environmental responsibilities through cOmmited.App. His experience in project development and management has enabled him to successfully steer and implement this initiative. With deep knowledge in carbon trading and sustainable finance, Koseoglu aims to make significant contributions to environmental sustainability with this project.
Elif Unde - Educational Programs and Materials Development
Unde is a valuable educator with significant expertise and experience in the education sector. She possesses profound knowledge and experience in developing and assessing the effectiveness of educational materials. Focused on learning tools and methodologies, her goal is to make education more comprehensible and accessible. By working on the design and implementation of effective teaching materials in various projects, she has contributed significantly to enhancing learning processes. Her proficiency in material evaluation aids in the ongoing improvement of educational content. Unde strives to create more effective learning environments for learners.
